The Seattle Northwest Folklife Festival not only feature music, they also has many other activities for the public, especially for the children. This section is all about the children, they have so fun activities for the children.
The wood crafting area for the children, although I am not sure who is having the most fun here, the grown ups or the children.
Even though these are only simple wood work, but for children who grow up in a world full of electronic devices and video games, this is a good way to introduce some traditional fun to the children.
This little guy is so focus on his work and very happy with his final products. There’s something about the satisfaction you get from creating something with your hand.
How many children today have ever have any contact with any of the items in the above photos? Not to mention actually using them :) Making their own toy boat must have been a beautiful experience for them.
While the children are busy working on their crafts, the musician provided some fun and engaging children music. The music really make the already lively environment even more lively.
These people are very serious with their job, they have gone all out with their performance and all of the children approve! :)
